Engaged Humans exists for one reason: to bring the human back into the workplace.
We believe every person has value to add. When they feel safe enough to unlock that potential, organisations transform. Engagement rises. Turnover drops. Conversations that were avoided start happening. Teams start working with each other instead of around each other.
But this does not happen by accident. It happens when organisations and leaders are equipped with the skills, self-awareness, and tools to lead people well. That is what we do.
Paula Quinsee is the founder of Engaged Humans. She has worked in the personal development and organisational culture space for over 12 years, assessing individuals and teams, facilitating workshops, and helping organisations build stronger, more connected workplaces.
She is a certified Imago Relationship Therapy Educator and Facilitator, NLP Practitioner, PDA Analyst, Coach and Trainer, and has completed Brene Brown’s Dare To Lead training. She is a TEDx speaker and the author of two self-help books – Embracing Conflict, and Embracing No.
Paula has worked with some of South Africa’s leading organisations, her work spans financial services, healthcare, tourism, technology, engineering, and non profit sectors. She has also worked with cross-border and international clients.
Paula is a regular media guest, contributing to conversations on employee engagement, leadership development, relationship dynamics, psychological safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
Her approach is direct, warm, and practical. She walks into a room, reads the dynamics, builds trust, and gets people talking about the things they have been avoiding. Then she empowers them with the tools to keep doing it themselves.
Engaged Humans curates solutions that combine neuroscience, human behaviour insights, and relational intelligence with practical tools and experiential interventions that can be applied back in the workplace straight away.
We sit with you, your people, and diagnose what is actually happening, and then build the solutions that shift human behaviour. Every engagement is bespoke. We work face to face or online, with leaders, teams or entire organisations, and tailor every programme to the specific dynamics, language, and objectives of your team and organisation.
We also measure the before and after that reflects the real shifts in engagement, communication, psychological safety, and values alignment that you can see in the numbers.
Our Values
We build genuine, human-centred relationships. Everything we do starts with connection. When people feel seen, heard, and respected, they engage differently. This is the foundation of every engagement we take on.
We are passionate about what we do. That passion shows up in the energy we bring to every room, the depth we go to in every diagnostic, and the commitment we have to seeing real change in your organisation. We care about your people and your outcomes as if they were our own.
We engage for growth and always follow through on our commitments. We give our expertise, our honesty, and our full attention. In return, we ask for openness, participation, and a willingness to do the work. The results come from that mutual investment.

Who does Engaged Humans work with?
We work with Leaders and their teams, HR and L&D teams, and business owners globally. We work with organisations of all sizes – the human issues are the same regardless of size. There are conflict, communication, team dynamics and culture clashes. Our clients range from large financial services firms like Allan Gray, Rand Merchant Bank, Bank of Botswana, and Discovery to medium enterprises like ExoSystems and New Frontiers Tours, to smaller ones too like Calibre Education, ASISA Foundation, and G.I.A Botswana.
How long does a typical engagement last?
It depends on the need and scope of the organisation. Some engagements run for 6 months, others are multi-year partnerships. We start with a diagnostic, agree on objectives, and build a timeline that works for your organisation.
What makes Engaged Humans different from other consultancies?
We combine behavioural science with practical application. We work alongside you, your people, build trust, facilitate the conversations that need to happen, and measure the results before and after.
